As the Village of Los Lunas continues to grow, the groundbreaking of the future Westside Fire Station #2 will be an economic development game changer, providing fire services to our residents, retailers, manufacturers and industries that will make the Village of Los Lunas their future home west of Interstate 25.
Due to the recent huge development projects such as FACEBOOK, NIAGARA, and the BNSF CENTRAL RAIL PARK, this public safety project is essential as the Village continues to grow and expand development to the West. In closing, I would like to thank our Fire Department, the Parks Department, the Village Council, the community for approving the Mill Levy funds and Molzen Corbin that provided the design for the project. And, the staff of Community Development that helped with the ceremony set up.
